IN TROUSERS

The Songs of In Trousers!!

Here's a list of all the songs in In Trousers! They all have links to MP3s of the songs if you wanna listen to them, and .TXT files of the lyrics if you're curious about those.

01 - Marvin's Giddy Seizures

Very fun song!!

02 - How the Body Falls Apart / Your Lips and Me

Love the vocals for both.

03 - My High School Sweetheart

Love it.

04 - Set Those Sails

Love hearing how different Miss Goldberg's voice is to the other two women in the show.

05 - My Chance to Survive the Night

Chip Zien the man you are!!

06 - I Am Wearing a Hat (Marvin Takes a Wife)

Lovely.

07 - How Marvin Eats His Breakfast

100% my favourite song. I love it so much, and I NEED to perform it someday!!

08 - A Breakfast Over Sugar

The most beautiful song in the whole show. It also packs such a punch, especially with how goofy the song before it is.

09 - Whizzer Going Down

Probably the most well-known song from In Trousers. Huge tonal whiplash between this song and the previous song.

10 - High School Ladies at 5 O'Clock / The Rape of Miss Goldberg

William Finn had (supposedly) said that he couldn't remember the meaning of High School Ladies at 5 O'Clock, but it's still a very fun song! Also, I might be wrong about Whizzer Going Down being the most well-known song from In Trousers, since a section of The Rape of Miss Goldberg became a really popular sound on TikTok a while ago.

11 - The Nausea Before the Game / Love Me for What I Am

Once again, Chip Zien the man you are. Also, Alison Fraser the woman you are!!

12 - Marvin's Final Words from How America Got It's Name / Your Lips and Me (Reprise)

Love how weird and non-linear this show gets.

13 - Marvin Takes a Victory Shower

I love being Marvin!!!!!

14 - Another Sleepless Night

Very fun group song.

15 - In Trousers (The Dream)

I don't listen to this one as much as I should. Very good ending song! It's fun seeing all the interpretations people have of it.

BONUS - I'm Breaking Down

Literally adore this song. I heard Stephanie J. Block's rendition first, but still love this version!!
